A man has been arrested in Adamawa after being found in possession of a stolen tricycle. The arrest was made as part of the ongoing efforts to curb theft and recover stolen property in the region.
The Adamawa State Police Command has arrested one Abba Suleiman, with a stolen tricycle in Song Local Government Area of the state.
The spokesperson of the command, SP Suleiman Nguroje, disclosed this in a statement on Thursday, July 20, 2023.
“Operatives of Adamawa state Police command attached to Song Division while on Confidence Building Patrol along Bariki Sajo -Song intercepted and Arrested a 27years old Abba Suleiman a resident of Gombi with a Stolen Tricycle,” the statement read.
“The suspect was on his way to dispose of the stolen tricycle to a certain place in Jimeta, Yola North before his arrest,”
“Anyone whose tricycle is stolen should report to Divisional Police Headquarters, Song with proof of ownership and claim it,” he added.
