According to Adamu Shehu, a spokeperson in a statement, said the incident happened around 11pm on Friday when fire razed a hut while the victims were asleep.
A fire outbreak has claimed the lives of a 30-year-old woman identified as Khadija Ibrahim, and her two daughters at Tsangarwa village, in the Gwaram Local Government Area of Jigawa State.
Confirming the incident, the spokesperson for the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps, Jigawa State, Adamu Shehu, in a statement, said the incident happened around 11pm on Friday when fire razed a hut while the victims were asleep.

“The fire engulfed a hut, where the 30-year-old Khadija Ibrahim was sleeping alongside her two daughters, four-year-old Aisha Ibrahim and two-year-old Rabi Ibrahim.”
He explained that both the mother and her two daughters were consumed by the inferno as none of the victims was rescued alive.
Shehu said the cause of the fire was unknown, but neighbours noted that it might not be unconnected with a charcoal fire meant to keep them warm.
The remains of the victims have been deposited at a nearby hospital.

A fully-loaded tanker has lost control in Apata area of Ibadan, the Oyo state capital.
Our correspondent learnt that the tanker lost control and burst into flames immediately.
Sources told Gist of the Day that the tanker wreaked havoc at Apata junction.
The incident occurred opposite Oando filling station Thursday evening.
One of the eyewitnesses said that the tanker, which was coming from Omi area lost control and rammed into a block of shops opposite the filling station and immediately burst into flames.
Gist of the Day gathered that the number of affected shops have not been ascertained as at the time of filing this report.
