Colleagues, actors, reality TV stars, and fans across all social media platforms penned heartfelt messages to the singer, who has maintained a mournful silence since the death of his three-year-old son, Ifeanyi.

Recall that Davido’s son with Chioma, Ifeanyi, died on Monday, October 31, after drowning in a swimming pool at his home in Banana Island.

“Happy, kind hearted and always willing to lift the next person up. You’re such a light to the world Fave. Thank you for always being you,Happy 30th birthday David @davido 🥳🎂#obonogominus”, she wrote.

Davido’s personal logistics manager, Isreal DMW, who has been quiet on social media since the incident, also celebrated his boss this morning.

He wished Davido a happy birthday and prayed that the Lord continue to be his strength.

“Happy 30th birthday Sir. The Lord would continue to be ur strength Amen”, he wrote.

Nigerian producer and singer, Pheelz, shared a video of Davido on Twitter and wrote, “I wish you joy for the rest of your life ⁦@davido⁩ Birthday blessings broski 👑🎉”.

The “more love, less ego” star, during his sold-out show at the Madison Square Garden in New York on Wednesday, November 16, paid tribute to Davido, who just lost his 3-year-old son, Ifeanyi.

While Wizkid’s official disc jockey, DJ Tunez, played two of Davido’s songs, “Dami Duro” and “If,” Wizkid sang along and declared his love for the singer. “O.B.O., we love you,” he said.
