The Norwegian started his most memorable homegrown mission in England with a twist
Erling Haaland got his Premier League vocation looking dream so far on Sunday, stowing a support in Manchester City’s 2-0 triumph over West Ham on Sunday. In the wake of missing a sitter in last end of the week’s Community Shield, he lightened any tension that had been working against him.
What’s more, it required only 36 minutes for the 22-year-old to open his Manchester City account, opening a punishment into the base left corner after he was brought down in the case by West Ham goalkeeper Alphonse Areola.
Soon after the hour mark Haaland multiplied his count, locking onto a fine Kevin De Bruyne through ball and opening it tranquilly into a similar corner. Pep Guardiola denied him of the opportunity to finish a full go-around however, subbing the Norwegian off with 12 minutes of typical chance to play.
